Just back from TRU.  The hotel was still available when I was there.  I spent around CAD 75~80 before tax and I got bricktober hotel and space polybag for free.

I bought 3 Mixel series 2 and a star wars calendar (my collection) to make it over CAD 75

They definitely were not in Canada at any TRU as far as I know/can remember. I was at my TRU this morning but couldn't pay MSRP just to get the hotel...not when I see what happens in the TRUTH thread. At least last year a different line (or two) was 20% off, making it a little more attractive. TRU.CA needs to get a rewards program and credit card...

They just started the Hotel promo this week. So maybe next week you can buy the Hotel while the new Bricktober promo is in effect.

Agree. We can use a TRUTH in Canada. At least for now the Air miles will still have me spend $ in TRU over WM

Last year I asked about buying extra Bricktober sets and they would not. YMMV but the manager said they had to return them because the upc was not in the system. I managed to get a few Rocket Raccoon polys by buying some SH sets but they would not sell individually, even though the flyer lists a retail value on them. 

If i can find some JW stuff to bundle up to get these, i might go for it. Otherwise i'll wait for double VIP/Holiday Train day

Stopped by a TRU on the way home to see if they had any Bricktober sets. They did, but no JW to bundle with.

However i saw a DS behind the counter, and at first i thought "oh cool, i'll grab one and get a Bricktober and a space poly to soften the blow", but then remembered the $600 price tag and noped on out of there.

haha thats exactly what I saw too!! A DS with security tags wrapped around on customer service desk. Def passed when I thought of the $100 premium. And no JW insight.

Lots of sealed cases of series 14 CMF's at this TRU location! (total of 7). Debated getting some, but not feeling the full retail without any discount ><

Go clean out all the Tiger Woman. $7-$8USD on ebay at the moment. I sold a batch of 15 to someone in Hong Kong, not sure why they want so many in one shot.

Ordered 15 devastators last night at 132.97 a pop right before they caught the old price. 

Good job. If I saw that, I would punch in at least 10 orders. What a steal. Anyhow, I got 10 of them for $122.97 in August when it was on sale for 132.97 by adding the cineplex code, Had to wake up early in the morning to catch that sale as it went oos rather quickly.

Yeah I never figured out the 'trick' even when it was shown to me, lol. You have to check a certain file path on the TRUs website

Geez... grabbed 6 IR and its now gone  ... not as big of a restock as we hope or most of it got distributed to stores. Or someone has been buying a ton since 6AM X_X

Anyone remember if TRU even have Lego sales leading up to Christmas? Next couple months is their bread and butter, I don't blame if them if discounts are minimal.

Previous bricktobers at TRU had SOME discounts. Would be a major disappointment if nothing happens all October this year.
