October 18, 201510 yr None of my local TRU's had any of the Creator polys, so only picked up 1 item this week. Will likely wait for the final week for the Mini TRU (which i think is the best of the bunch) and to see if they have another poly offered that they actually get some stock of. Ninjago Cities haven't been touched in my closest store, yet the 30+ Chima ones were down to 2. Funny how that works. Edited October 18, 201510 yr by Sandwraithx157

October 24, 201510 yr I just wanna buy the C3PO like our Amaerican friends lol Oh cool. In your experience can I just go in with a bunch of random minifigs and get a bunch of stormtroopers?

October 24, 201510 yr I have no idea what this is. Looking forward to see what others report on Saturday. It's usually only 1 trade per person so if you know anyone who wants to go with you, bring em. You also usually get to choose from the minifigs that were traded in, so if you know your stuff sometimes people drop a valuable one without realizing it.

I could use the Dr Wu game preorder poly =D Edited October 24, 201510 yr by tacsniper
October 24, 201510 yr Oh so you are not trading with TRU for some brand new polybag minifig? The last times they did this trade-a-fig thing, they started with new bulk minifigs but the idea was to trade one for one and that's it. If you went late in the day, you were picking through earlier trades - of which sometimes people were leaving very valuable figs without knowing. This is a little different as they're saying NEW but where are they getting polybag stock from then? Just seems weird. Might swing by with a crappy dupe or two just to see if anything good is there.

October 26, 201510 yr The Mini-TRU seemed to sell out the fastest of any of the Bricktober sets. Most in my area were out of stock by Sunday whereas past weeks they still had some from the previous week to spill over into the next. Got a few, but wish i had a couple more.Didn't attend the mini-fig thing so i can't comment on what they had (nor did i even see it actually).

Planning on heading over to one or two again this week so we'll see what they have. I've been to past trade-in events and it's really just a random crap shoot what they have. Lots of generic or unloved figures in my experience, ie standard clones, random city people, etc. They just put what they have in a bin and you can sort through it.
October 29, 201510 yr Saw these being put into a %50 off bin likely for tomorrows sale week. Still not going to bite on this one though. Lego Movie Dropship for any mobile users.

October 30, 201510 yr 9 minutes ago, megahuts said: What sale next week? When does it start? All Toysrus "sales" start on Friday and last thru the following Thursday. Sometimes they can last 2 weeks, and sometimes there are none at all. I use the word "sale" very loosely, it's more of just a way to say "new flyer period". You can view next weeks flyer online usually a day before their flyer week begins (so you can view next weeks sales today). As another member posted earlier in the thread; i believe this week will be %20 LEGO Movie sets, %20 off Star Wars MTT, and free Demolition Driller poly with $25 purchase. Seen this poly back in February of this year at LEGO Shop at Home, so it's nothing special. Hope this helps! Edited October 30, 201510 yr by Sandwraithx157
October 30, 201510 yr Also 75 bonus airmiles for $100 and over purchases OCT 31 ONLY. I'll be grabbing a Santa's Workshop + filler!

November 1, 201510 yr Saw the same type of sale bins at my nearest TRU as well but only %10 off wattarip! Did notice they had a complete restock of nearly every current line including 8x more IRs (34R5) & even more of all sets from the JW line except RE of course stock levels are almost pre-Christmas capacity! Guess it's safe to wait for a sale before going in on JW nowadays.

I'd imagine that they wanted the shelves to be full for at least the first weekend of the flyer (which was probably arranged well in advance?) I'm hoping that this stock gets snapped up by the early Christmas shoppers. Unfortunately will also probably depress the amazon and ebay prices for a couple weeks, too, if resellers grab some.

I saw 4 sealed cases sitting beside the customer service counter at a TRU and they all had a big orange sticker that saids "DIRECT SHIP DO NOT KEY"... I am guessing that's telling the warehouse staff to mail it out using courier as oppose to their regular shipments? And not to key it into their inventory so they don't pop up on their online store? Either they know these are hot, or a way to deter us from snatching them all up
