What are some of the most useful (or pointless) ebay apps that users have tried?

For what type of use? Scheduled bidding? Templates? Etc....

Any really - I was just looking into the marketing ones available this morning, and I thought that it might be worth seeing what apps have worked (or not worked) for others.

Too much volume required for the casual seller, to achieve the margins.  This is my personal opinion, of course.  I might need to try it.

My Amazon concern is that you relinquish too much control to them. I am sure that it is overblown, but I just don't feel comfortable with some of the things that I have heard.

I have heard that your inventory (if sent to Amazon) is simply lumped together with other sellers same product (if you request the inventory back, you won't receive the same ones that you sent), and a buyer can receive another sellers scam product (not yours), but they will believe it was from you (as will Amazon).

Also, do they really decide for themselves to issue refunds to buyers (and how much to issue), without your consent?

I have trouble relinquishing this control as well.  I'm low volume enough that I don't need someone else to fulfill and store my product.  I thought about opening an account to self-fulfill with Amazon, but I don't think I can turnover enough product to achieve margins much greater than other selling methods.

I do fear having my current accounts disabled/banned on my current selling vehicles, especially during peak volume periods.  I've heard a few folks on BP experience this type of weird behavior from EBay, etc.

I believe the lumping together of stocks.  Last RIs I ordered from amazon.com (NOT 3PS) had some weird labels taped right beside the UPC boxes.  Those labels do not have any business being there had the items come straight from LEGO.  ETA: Just to be clear, they were the same labels on 2 RI boxes

Last RI I got from Amazon.com direct came in a Lego bag. A normal, small and yellow Lego bag.

Amazon does regularly buy from 3PS to sell to their direct customers, as we've learned from other threads here.
