After watching the movie, I loaded up on another 5 DS using my 5 Amazon accounts.

DS is already ~£60 higher on ebay UK than MSRP, which was £275. I am talking about ongoing bids.

Every other time I try that with my Amazon accounts, they cancel my order.  I'm not sure what the trigger is.  Are you using different forms of payment?  Ship to address?

I think the Tumbler has a better chance of doubling in price after all fees are taken into account than 10188.  Obviously the death star has a much higher ceiling, but it's not near as scarce as the Tumbler will be after a year.

after seeing the new movie i dont think the new 2016 DS will be the "DS" from SW7... so the new DS probably destroy the 10188...

I guess you are saying it is popping in and out of stock.  I will watch the stock tracker to see how often it is going in and out of stock.  Right now its been available and you are able to add it to cart.

Sometimes the cache is not correctly cleared and an old status is shown. Happened to me for birds where the status shown me C2C status although it was sold out.

(End of the story was that I called S&H and got 10 birds because they have got some additional birds sets into storage and nobody called them because of the status :-) ).

I've just seen this too.  It was sold out when I sat down and looked.  Hit refresh a couple min later and was back in stock.  Hit refresh again and sold out again where it has remained for about 10 min now.

Orange sold out as opposed to red.  Some speculate that's the less permanent version of sold out.

I did actually double my money on two of my DS already where buy-in was about 250 Euros on a one-time occassion on Amazon.it several months ago. Current ebay prices are about 600 Euros, making it even more than 2x my money.

just got another one.  Started with 8 three years ago sold them to fund our brick link store now back to 6 which will be funded by the brick link store

But this is also flagged with retiring soon.  I believe this is the end.  Either way, I have three and so for me - this is the end.  I have never put a lot of money on the red vs orange Sold Out text.
