after the new one that comes out that is supposed to be basically the same thing just minor updates maybe $40 will be the going price for them lol

      Hanging is by far the best way to display it.  It has a hollow core, so we used a small piece of wood painted black with an eye bolt and picture hanging wire.  That way its supported from the bottom.

    Build, it is a great set in its own right.  If you want to splash out, get yourself a black cheese wedge and voila New Deathstar

    I have only one, I guess I'm glad I always found it ugly and not worth investing in. Ugly or not though,  my personal opinion doesn't mean much in this game, but the fact that the new one is here and it's only $500 only, can't stop thinking that I'm lucky :)

    I only have one as well, and my buy-in was extremely low.  I'm going to hold on to it and see how this all shakes out.

    Since new DS is 500 bux, ill prolly just try to unload what I have at that price through craigslist... atleast whoever is buying from me can save like 40 bux off sales tax...

    Don't do that. It is fun to look at first page of posts of each tread. See who got their predictions right and so on. With the merge it would be a pain to find where the speculation of 75159 began. 

    One thing you could do is temporarily close the 10188 thread?

    Pretty sure it was a joke. It would be horrible for posterity. One thing I really enjoy about this site is that you can go back. If these were merged, much would be lost.
