Hey, anybody see a new 10188 box?

I know i could also post this in the what i heard… thread, but it also fits in here. I called the lego customer service a few times in the past weeks… (including today)...

they told me it's on its last run…. like the 1000 times in the past years

Anybody seen any kind of box for this one recently?

The fact that there is a new "Death Star" in the new movie makes a remake of the old one seem very unlikely.

amazon now has 180+ resellers for 10188.  yikes.

I'll let you know after I check the minty fresh ones I received from Target yesterday (still in carton).

This set is not for everyone.  Many people have sold theirs 2-3 years ago and made money with those dollars.  At this point, I'm figuring it has a very limited shelf life and it did exhibit strong growth when it "sold out" months ago, so that is a great indicator of possible strong returns in the future.  

If Emazer's is buying, I'm buying.  Mic drop. Walk away.

What if they have hidden things extremely well and the new set in December is actually the new Death Star ?

When i saw the new movie poster i thought it has to be a deathstar or similar. And indeed they said there will be a starkiller base built on an icy planet. Could the rumored hoth base UCS be the starkiller base? 

I just called LEGO Shop at Home trying to order one by phone, it was not possible but she said they are making lots of new ones and they will be orderble in November. Same for pet shop and Jurassic World.

38R5 just delivered via Target. Same old box. Came in LEGO carton which is dated '150918'. Very recent.

I guess it is somewhat safe to say that the person on Bricklink who spoke of the new box in the Montreal LEGO store was full of crap.

Last night the price for set was increased in my home country from $483 to $564. Shame on me, who put the set in a basket, but did not purchase it.

I messaged the support of the store (the official one), who replied the following (translation): "True, the price has been changed. Moreover, the production will be shutdown this year and the set will not be supplied anymore".

I guess it is hoarding time!

Russia. I doubt that we have a DS production here, so the message is likely to be applied to all markets.
