Light Up Policeman Battery Replacement?

've just bought a pristine 7237 Police Station for my Grandsons but as is to be expected for a set of this age the battery in the Light-Up Policeman (973cx6) is flat.

I fear I may already know the answer to this but here goes anyway. Is there a way to open up the minifigure without damaging it to replace the battery? If so what battery does it take & where (UK) would I get one from?

I'd appreciate any help or advice.

    I don't want to give you bad info but as far as I know they are not open-able without breaking the figure.  The light up lightsaber Star Wars characters  had the same issue with the light dying and I don't think you were able to replace them as well.
