I came across a very talented Japanese builder, who makes videos of his pop-up building creations. From what I can gather they require more than 10K pieces and take him more than a year (200 hours) to make. What I'm more interested in though is how he generated the instructions and got the piece numbers at the end of this video:
Did he use the Digital Designer to do the entire thing first?
Take screenshots of each layer?
Figure out the piece numbers for each?
Is there some other tool he used to do this for him automatically?

Hey guys!
I came across a very talented Japanese builder, who makes videos of his pop-up building creations. From what I can gather they require more than 10K pieces and take him more than a year (200 hours) to make. Quite an amazing monumental effort either way.
Thanks in advance for any info,
Jay
