Yeah double VIP has torched my budget pretty well. I think EV has at least another year in it, if not more, and I've already got one, so I think I will have to pass on this. And that's tough because this is a really good price!

Never heard of anyone ever parting out a SOH.

Is anyone else having trouble with them not shipping to there address and is there a way around this?

They may not ship to the US, just like amazon.com does not ship many items, like LEGO (usually) to Canada

Was too slow on SOH but got a couple EV. I wouldn't actually be all surprised if EV went this fall and Red-5 stuck around.

EV OOS, but it looks like you can still order at the discount price and have it shipped later (ETA March 25th).

EV seems like a risky set, i just have weird feelings about it. I would love to build one though

I think it will do just fine. The build IMO is just mehhhhh though.

i doubt there is any chance of ewoks showing up in the new films... thats what scares me. I agree that the movies will peak interest and people will go back and watch the older ones, but im on the fence. Convince me! Cause if i tell my girlfriend i bought more lego she might be pissed lol.

Star Wars OT sets won't need the new movies to carry them as investments. And buying in at a ~$50 discount mitigates pretty much all of the risk that could lie in this set.
