Hi folks,

I picked up the mirrorbox display set yesterday which has sets 9491 and 9488 with a holographic light show of a battle.

I can't see any for sale and am wondering on it's worth?

Lego displays are hard to put a price on. It's all up to how much a buyer is willing to pay. I suggest you put it up on eBay at the price you are looking for and if it doesn't sell you can go down from there. There isn't a huge market for these diplays but there are people out there who collect them.

I love these display sets, very impressive. The sounds and music are great for this one and the visual effects are awesome.

Too bad it includes not very iconic sets (and not very popular I would say).

 

I'm not sure for investment, the display sets seem not to be very popular, except when they include popular sets so you can expect about the price of the MISB sets included inside the display box.

No problem. You will find that a lot of the displays on ebay are listed as local pickup only. They are quite hard to pack and ship. Do you have a Craigslist or something similar you can list it on locally? That could be another option. I seem to recall another members posting a topic about this very display I will see if I can find it.
