One of the smaller Arctic Sets.  I've been please with the whole series.  I'm hoping that my next build will be The Lonely Mountain.

  •   There are a few parts that don't appear in any other sets in the same color... and 60064 is the newest set to have them.   http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=46103&

If owned, I would also get out w/in months since City is refreshed so often. In the last year, we have had 3 city explorer type sub-themes. Coast Guard, Arctic and the up-coming underwater sets. Dema

  • Does anyone see this set appreciating to $175+shipping in the future or is 150 shipped the max. I found a couple more over the last few days and happily bought them. Ex Astri

Rare trumps Licensed Set.

Maybe tops 150 euros once there are really only a handful left.

I agree.

Just are we going to wait for it hitting 150 euro? Now it sell for between 90 and 100 euro.

For it to reach 150, there has to be a substantial thinning out of stock.

As we have seen with TH and LM, supposedly rare sets have still been obtained in multiple lots by a number of investors some of whom have the lack of astuteness to advertise that they have several units.

Until these ones are off the market, 90 euros is the market price.

The last 3 BIN sales that I can see were all at about €127, so may be well ahead of where you think price wise already.

With GBP to EURO conversion that´s where it´s at but I meant purely EURO sales. 3xMSRP in other words.

We are now edging towards 150 euros as a selling price on Ebay. No more than a dozen sellers on Ebay or Bricklink. It seems the short shelf life has helped it reach a level of appreciation that a normal City set would take 4-5 years to attain, if ever.

Maybe it's because they're closer to the Arctic than some of us, but they must have had some supply of this set in Latvia, all the recent Ebay sales are from there.

Apparently there will be a transport plane in the new Arctic range (60196) and it will be a store exclusive similar to the last one.

Time to sell if you haven´t already.

They look nothing alike.

Customers will definitely see the value in paying more for a smaller orange plane.

There was a time when all retired Lego sets were $500 sets. Now it just applies to 10179.

Just now, Val-E said:

That´s 60193. Kockshop mentions 60196 so either they are wrong or we get 2 air vehicles - that would never happen in a City subtheme, would it?

Another possibility is it is a train station to go with the new trains, but we would have got pics by now. I reckon it´s a store exclusive for Arctic.

TIme to sell I tells you.

Already did, but I have one more, like every other set in tarnation.

You euro people have way cooler store names

For those who are not fluent in Magyarul, "kocka" means "brick". Of course "shop" is not Hungarian, it should be kockaaruhaz.hu ...... (Or kockabolt.hu)

1) Jet engines instead of props.

2) Blue City band on box goes across rather than vertical.

That´s as far as I can get.
