  • Call to check on a big set like this used to cause a frenzy here. This thing would have vanished from target, amazon, and walmart in a couple hours and there would have been pages of discussion here.

  • After the Kwik E Mart they need to do a (whispers) monorail.

  • No. Perhaps the Snake Minifig may go for $25 to help of set the cost. Oh, and we call them customers.

I love the police car, I will take that in exchange for the 3 bullies I was hoping for.  I think it's decent size judging by the minifigs, too bad only the E on the sign is bricks...will have to fix that.

will that be the special vip announcement that will happen in April? anybody got any ideas?

Thanks for sharing, looks great!  I am surprised by the slow roll out of these sets but the attention to detail is excellent!

Eeeeexxxxxcccellent! (Burns fingers)

Be more careful next time.  Run under cold water.

Now on a related note:   YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!  I'm buying this all for me!

I was not expecting it to be 2000+ pieces set. Makes one wonder if they are indeed going to retire Simpsons House

If they do...I'll be investing in these.

Well, change to limit 1 at LEGO Shop at Home is really suspicious unless they playing mind games. But if they do - why Simpsons?

Aren't they cutting the show? Since The Family Guy took over.

And I don't see it in the shop.lego...you can add it to cart?

Could they just be trying to conserve some stock for when the Kwik E Mart is released? Would look pretty crappy to have the house Sold Out when the kwikee goes up for sale. Of course, that would make sense so Lego couldn't possibly be doing that. :)

I have this crazy theory that the Simpsons-related production resources are currently allocated to making figs for the Kwik E Mart and series 2 CMFs, and they are temporarily suspending production of the house, hence the limit 1. But who knows?

Their ratings have gone down since The Family Guy, if their show discontinues the House + Kwik set will sky rocket.
