  • You guys are setting yourselves up for the new "LEGO Whore'der" award.

  • Seems like Lego probably wouldn't ban you for buying multiples in this case.  Unless the move from limit 2 to limit 5 is some sort of trick?  Anyway, I plan on buying several of these to create my 'We

I think alot of people were put off by the amount of stickers and this was harder to stock up in quantity. I like the set and was impressed with the part out value. Stocked up on EEE and left VW for the horde. I expect it to do well and if it turns out to be the last Maersk set it could do extremely well.

Completely agree with this. I have always been very positive about this set, so it's interesting to see how well it will do over the coming months.

I was also debating whether to get this set or not since it was not highly sought after. Considering I still ended with 2 , I should thank myself.

on the other hand, the stickers allow you the flexibility of putting other companies' logos on the containers. There are quite a few online sellers capitalising on this market.

EEE is "call the check availability" likely they have a few left in stock for those that missed it before.

looks like this is off to a nice start - selling at ~$220 on Ebay and lowest on Amazon right now is $240

I've always had a lot of faith in this one...

Profits ahoy!

Why didn't I trust my guts? I don't even have one...

I only have 3. The retiring soon tag that was on it for like 6 months scared me away. I should have just stuck with one of my rules: "It's an exclusive stupid, buy it".

I think a lot of people got scared with this set constantly selling for $119.00 (with free shipping) on eBay from Vietnamese sellers. I think we all know what was going on there...

I only got 3 as well. This set was always on my radar but basically lack of funds worked against me to get more when choosing against other sets. Creator exclusives always take a back seat to other higher profile exclusives it seems!

Who are these people that were nowhere to be found for the last 6+ months and are now crawling out of the woodwork to pay top dollar for this set?

People always want what they can't have/get easily. Weird... but true.

I was going to say it is just the people who missed the boat but I am sure that wouldn't hold water.

Maybe, Maerskbe not...

Going for around 230USD on ebay now. Only a seller from Canada undercutting everyone else at around 210usd. This one seems to be doing quite well after being retired.

Is this one still available in the US?

No, hasn't been in quite some time. Been sold out at the USA LEGO Shop at Home for some time, only 3rd party sellers now as far as I know.

Thanks.

Hope you have a few stashed away.

Yes, I do... I need to work out a way to get 1-2 more at a discount, even if over MSRP. I think it will be worth it but that is just this bloody noob's opinion, innit?

Well... in Europe it seems unhoarded. It was also not so easy to obtain here. Only SaH and the Legostore were the place to go for this one. If I would be able to get these slightly over MRSP now  I would not hesitate.

I don't think they were available anywhere except for the official Lego channels in North America, either - correct me if I am wrong. Well, never seemed to be much enthusiasm for this one in the Americas compared to Australia and Europe from what I can tell. Bit surprising, looks like an impressive set.

I passed and I´m having the same doubts this year about Fairground Mixer only it is slightly more widely available and I don´t see at as much more than a big CITY set and no one buys CITY at full rrp, do they?
