Misc grab bags of random pieces

Featured Replies

Do any of you ever buy the mysterious "x" number of lbs grab bags of miscellaneous lego parts? What are your thoughts on these mystery bags ? I have scoured some of the thrift stores in my area and while I have turned up a huge amount of sets I have found some rather interesting finds a few months back I picked up 8 bags of legos at a good will for $45 and I think there may have been an old star wars tie fighter in the bag. A Friend of mine went to a good will and picked up two huge bags of legos one had a super star destroyer kit or a least part of it , and the other bag her scored had a star wars AT Walker kit in it both bags cost him less than $30. So your opinions fellow lego enthusiasts Lego Mystery bags ?

Me and my brothers always look in goodwill for Legos, and about two weeks ago one of them bought the Pharoh's Quest sphinx set sealed in the box for only $13. Like you said their "grab bags" do harbor some very interesting finds, although if you don't find anything that stupendous you can still sell the miscellaneous bricks, ( For more money than you bought them for too :) or just add them to your collection.
