Do any of you ever buy the mysterious "x" number of lbs grab bags of miscellaneous lego parts? What are your thoughts on these mystery bags ? I have scoured some of the thrift stores in my area and while I have turned up a huge amount of sets I have found some rather interesting finds a few months back I picked up 8 bags of legos at a good will for $45 and I think there may have been an old star wars tie fighter in the bag. A Friend of mine went to a good will and picked up two huge bags of legos one had a super star destroyer kit or a least part of it , and the other bag her scored had a star wars AT Walker kit in it both bags cost him less than $30. So your opinions fellow lego enthusiasts Lego Mystery bags ?

Me and my brothers always look in goodwill for Legos, and about two weeks ago one of them bought the Pharoh's Quest sphinx set sealed in the box for only $13. Like you said their "grab bags" do harbor some very interesting finds, although if you don't find anything that stupendous you can still sell the miscellaneous bricks, ( For more money than you bought them for too or just add them to your collection.
