I have the chance of picking up a couple of 7597 Western Train Chase at roughly 60% off, what's your opinion on this set? I don't know this particular line very well and I'm second-guessing myself... TY.

I would get them. Usually I would say stay away from the Toy Story Lego sets but the train might be an exception. And at 60% off it seems too good to pass up.

Go for it... it's a very cool set that I've been trying to find for myself at a decent price. It's by far the best set from the Toy Story line.

I agree - trains generally do quite well, even Toy Story trains. That and with Hollywood's love of sequels, I wouldn't count out another film sometime in the future.

I'd jump on these in a heartbeat. This was the ONLY Toy Story item that I actually made decent money on. Not to mention that it's a pretty cool set too.

Welcome! Trains do well in general. Not the best theme but it's a train. Your buy price seems to be pretty good.

I sold two sets, bought with 50% off, but was able to resell only for RRP.

Don't expect too much because it's not a train, it's a kiddish train.

Nor Duplo, neither for AFOLs... it's like the lego Cars theme.

 

Such tiny profits on a train show the lack of interest of people for this theme.
