December 25, 20213 yr Finished Home Alone yesterday, just in time for Christmas! Picture is not very good, but it's an awesome set, really stunning level of detail inside and a fun build. Looking forward to displaying this for many Holidays to come. Merry Christmas!
December 25, 20213 yr Got this for (and built it with) my other half. Also I got one of those VIP GWP blankets. Surprisingly big and very soft.
December 27, 20213 yr Found a Marvel Advent for $12.50 today and tried this challenge ... definitely something I'll do again!Sent from my SM-A326U1 using Tapatalk
December 27, 20213 yr Popular Post Finally got around to building the Blacksmith Shop I scored for 30% off a few months. I have to say that this was a very enjoyable build and will stay in my collection. The light brick gimmick is actually really cool.
December 29, 20213 yr View from the recliner in my man cave. Sounds a little weird but this is one of the AT-ATs best angles. You really get a sense of scale and awesomeness 😎 Edited December 29, 20213 yr by Mathew
December 31, 20213 yr Couple of Christmas builds. I particularly love the airship; it's very cleverly done.Yay LEGO!

I posted this when I built it when it first came out that they should have had numbered bags 1-20 and for those that want a more challenging experience go ahead and open them all. Agreed that Jamie did an amazing job with it, but I still don’t want a GWP that has his name on it OBTW I think building that UCS AT-AT has been very therapeutic for you. Keep up the good work!

Tell me about it. 1-6 for that size of a set was a bit ridiculous. Also led to more pieces getting covered in dust since I left it out for weeks at a time between building sessions, lol.

Medieval Market Village had 1600 pieces and no numbered bags. That was the second set I built as a AFOL and it was not fun sorting all the tiny pieces.

I remember 10231 Shuttle Expedition being a bit fun in terms of sorting.
December 31, 20213 yr Didn't Tower Bridge have no numbered bags? I remember having thousands of pieces on my kitchen table for days over the holidays in 2010.

This is indeed correct. My sister and I built this over a weekend once though. Excellent team building set as you can each do a tower and not constantly get in each other’s way.
January 3, 20223 yr Popular Post Almost done with this monstrosity. Motorized version for size comparison
January 3, 20223 yr Wife surprised me with R2-D2. Not sure what I did to deserve this after the AT-AT but I’m thankful to have such a loving wife.
January 4, 20223 yr Supra, good build but those horrendous translucent headlight stickers need to go. Look at the stickers lego uses in their pics.
