What LEGO set did you build today?

Two of our more popular threads are "What LEGO set(s) did you buy today?" and "What LEGO set(s) did you sell today?" These threads are filled with great information. But we all know LEGO bricks are about "building" LEGO sets and models, so why shouldn't we talk about it on this site as well? I mean, many LEGO sets that are fantastic builds are also investment winners, so why shouldn't people share some of their experiences of build and set quality that might affect LEGO set values, either positively or negatively? Let us know what you built today and your overall thoughts on the set. Don't forget to leave more in depth reviews in our LEGO SET REVIEWS section...

Finished this beauty over the weekend and it is very impressive build by the user Pvdb.  It was a tricky build and you definitely should be proficient in building with Technic and have lots of experience as the instructions are not nearly as straight forward as TLG instructions.

Here is the Koenigsegg One:1.

More pictures, videos and info can be found here.

Did you bricklink it? If so can you share how much were all the pieces?

I believe 95% of the pieces I had in stock so it would be impossible to say how much it cost.  It is over 3000 pieces so it wouldn't be cheap.

It's only creepy when they are talking to you.

I am doing this for a friends wedding this year, bride and groom as a cake topper.

My son started this, but I ended up building the majority of it. 70603 Raid Zeppelin. Love the look of this thing!

Picked up a used one of those a couple of weeks ago, great set.  I think some of the ninjago sets are by far the most interesting builds/ best ooking sets around right now.  Hoping that the movie next year kicks some more life into the range.

My daughter and I built 2 of the $2.50 Airjitzu flyers. We put a basket across the room and made a game of landing them in it. Also, my dogs chase them and pounce when they land. Fun for the whole family!

Built Destiny's Bounty from a lot I bought after completing with BL, the $20 to replace Skales hurt. Also built the Big Bang Theory living room that I picked up on sale at LEGO Shop at Home.

Yep. I bought it used a couple of years ago. This is my first modular that I'm putting together. Time build it and then throw it up for sale.

I really enjoyed building this with my son. The repetitive parts were quick and easy. The cockpit is a little small, but it works. The chess area is my favorite detail. We loved recreating scenes and making our own. The hidden compartment is also a nice touch.

I still have my 7965 sealed so i can't compare the two. Overall, this is a great value at MSRP, better yet if you find it on sale. This is the most iconic ship in the galaxy with great playability, swoosh-ability, and display-ability.

Awesome minifigs, too!

My almost 5 year old built this morning. He keeps transforming him into Bumblebee from Transformers :)

Lego needs to get the license so it gets done properly unlike Kreo.

Took the instructions from the Maersk train #10219 and Bricklink'd all in black, bought some waterslide decals from a local hobby shop and then modified it a bit to be a Norfolk Southern locomotive in our little city. Nothing special, but we added power functions and it runs great.

I love this! I work for NS and I bought the set way before I knew about brick link. This engine looks just like the ones I switch with. Looks like I need to make a order now. Any idea how much it cost?

What gauge decals did you use? Looks fantastic btw!
