Two of our more popular threads are "What LEGO set(s) did you buy today?" and "What LEGO set(s) did you sell today?" These threads are filled with great information. But we all know LEGO bricks are about "building" LEGO sets and models, so why shouldn't we talk about it on this site as well? I mean, many LEGO sets that are fantastic builds are also investment winners, so why shouldn't people share some of their experiences of build and set quality that might affect LEGO set values, either positively or negatively? Let us know what you built today and your overall thoughts on the set. Don't forget to leave more in depth reviews in our LEGO SET REVIEWS section...

Until he turns 18, reads an article about how LEGO minifigures from the period 2000-2020 are now worth $1000+, and wants his Silver Centurion back so he can buy new games for his holoroom.

Never ask why, just go with the flow. BTW, most buyers seem to be located in Asia (same for the Iron Patriot/Gun Mounting System polybag) - likely this polybag is not available in all countries as a freebie.

Because people don't go in and ask for them.  They just assume you needed to do the preorder, and if you didn't you weren't getting it.

Finally finished this beast.  It's actually a pretty awesome playset and you can fit a warthog and a couple mongoose inside.  It's been a busy week and we had 5 baseball games this weekend.  The wife is watching a movie, so I finished it while waiting to watch "The Walking Dead".

I used to collect Those and the call of duty mega bloks. People like to crap on the brand but they never use stickers and they're a lot cheaper so they're doing something right.........

Not in the narrow gauge track... only curved and the sloped pieces. Even the new friends roller coaster has just curved and sloped. Time to get creative.

Tonight I finally got the remaining pieces to finish the Predator Supercar designed by former Lego Technic designer Nathanaël Kuipers.  I really love the look of this car and it has an interesting and very well designed vertical gearbox.

May take sometime, but she will get built. Used set, pieces all came mixed. First rule of the instructions broken, which is don't mix all the pieces together, and don't put pieces on the carpet, also broken. Off to a good start. 

I think i might just keep mine sealed a little longer.

I think it took me about 13 hrs in total to build mine. Got it on Xmas day, buit by the 27th.

I finally got round to building an Ecto 1 last night rather than just storing. Lovely build and not a sticker in sight. 

Can't decide on tonight's build. 42025 technic cargo plane, wall-e or the new lego maze?

I was going to build the ecto 1 last night. Got a 2nd one yesterday and was going to crack it open but then my boy wanted to build the Titanium Dragon so we're finishing that up tonight. I was thinking of picking up the maze today when I go to the lego store for the mini-build...and get a Mr. Freeze while I am there...but not sure I want to dole out retail on that maze even though it'll be a while before it drops in price....
