What did the parts cost for BB-8 approx?

I bought some more than I needed but it's about 50-60€ mainly via bricklink.

 

Side note: Building it is a little bit tricky. I had to repeat some steps as the instructions haven't been as great as LEGOs (even though they good enough! pictures of step by step building).

Some steps have been rather fiddly as some bricks are only held together by one stud. (You'll see what I mean when you build it ;-) ).

Also it's tricky to get the first steps on the ball right (meaning the interior structure).

Not today but over the past week, I built the second copy up. I have a 3rd as well. All from bulk lots, gotta build and verify each copy, then mix and match the best combination of parts... I have about 1.5 sheets worth of stickers between the 3 sets, and no minifigs. Gotta figure out how to distribute it for best returns. 

Kind of fun to start a full on fleet of these though, since they're so large. No idea where to put them now of course.

Working on a western scene and saw a western train station on Lego Ideas and liked it (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/9050), but wanted to mod some changes, make it a modular and add some LED lights (http://www.lifelites.com/). I have worked on this one on/off for about three years making all kinds of modifications to it. I want to redo the inside of the building at some point, maybe give it more detail like the outside. However, for now I am content with it.

I hid the battery pack to the street lights under the water tower and ran the wiring under the building (you can kind of see the battery pack, but not too bad). The clock tower lights up too, though it may be hard to see. I hid the battery pack inside the roof, with a little trap door to turn the power on. I like that it is usable for western type scenes as well as a modern train station (since there are so many older train stations still in use across this country). I also modified the locomotive so that it runs on Power Functions.

All the wooden planks that wrap around the station are the 1x4 wood grain tiles (not stickers), part #2431pb243. I bought a bunch a few years ago and am glad I did, they are quite pricy now. I think it makes it look a lot nicer.

Spoiler: and those of you with OCD…you may notice in the pictures that the four clocks are not aligned to be the same time…sorry.

A few years ago I bought a used 6285 Barracuda off Bricklink.  I finally had time to clean the pieces and build this beautiful ship!  The sails were in fantastic shape.  This was my first LEGO ship that I've ever built and it was a fun, but sometimes challenging build.  I must say, once you start assembling the masts and raising the sails, this ship really comes to life!

Not sure... I also have Black Pearl, Queen Ann's Revenge, and Sea Cow to choose from.

BP and QAR are a tad underwhelming in my opinion after building each. Both display great though.  BP was my fav of the two.

I like the colors on the QAR much better than BP. BP is...just so...black. Have not built the imperial flagship, but I would do it last so as not to make the other ships underwhelming by comparison.

Looks like I'll be filing a 2 year A-Z refund.

 

Finaly had time to finish this one after getting an incomplete one on eBay a few months ago, will need to replace the stickers eventually. The build was a bit on the boring side but the finished model looks great.

Wonderful set, BrickLegacy. This is one of the sets that I had as a child that I remember in great detail of building and having. Specifically, how my parents sacrificed to buy it for me and how much I enjoyed having it. Enjoy the set!

Barracuda looks great! Be sure to build the QAR and BP before you build the Imperial Flagship. Once you build the flagship everything else will feel small. Even the sea cow (which I love).

If you're not incredibly attached to the minifigs, you could recoup a nice chunk of your buy in. Vintage Pirates go for decent money, especially that female pirate. She's only in 2 sets I believe. 

Jealous of your Barracuda. The set I always wanted as a kid but could never own due to being lower middle class. Good call cleaning it first, makes the experience feel much more like a new experience when the bricks aren't covered in dust!

/first world LEGO problems

Man I wish I had that problem! I'd love to have an Imperial Flagship to build. I've built the QAR - LOVE IT - plus I've got the BP in a bulk lot I need to sort and a SC that I need to put together.

Continued my building rampage while my wife is overseas. Been wanting to make the kwik-e into a modular style that will fit on the block. I had to sacrifice the isles inside but everything else fit nicely. This is my first attempt at any kind of moc or mod. I think it turned out pretty good. The second floor will be an addition onto the cinema next door, still playing around with that. I have it started in the last pic but I may change that up.
