Nothing special, but we added power functions and it runs great. What gauge decals did you use? Looks fantastic btw!

Looks like I need to make a order now. Any idea how much it cost? While waiting for a Windows 10 ISO download to complete, I pulled the LXF file from Eurobricks, opened it in LDD, exported it to LDR, loaded the LDR in BrickStock, went through about 25 substitutions, then made almost everything Black, removed/readjusted the expensive parts and came to ~$90 for a black engine based on 6 month averages, motorized, perhaps missing a few components (LXF file is not complete, and something might have been lost in the conversion). Current minimum inventory price is ~$45. Shipping of course not included, and you might need many orders. So I'd say a safe total price is somewhere between $120 and $150 for the entire engine, motorized, including shipping.

It cost a bit more for me because I experimented with stickers from eBay and other options for the logos. I found the waterslide decals to be the best. So, I paid a little bit more and supported my local hobby shop by buying the decals there.

May 31, 20169 yr Popular Post Very happy with this purchase. Still can't believe my luck. In great condition. Only missing a few pieces which I have already ordered from bricklink. Super Star Destroyer next!

June 6, 20169 yr Popular Post It took 10 weeks to crack this set open, but we finally broke down and built the Ferris Wheel on the weekend. What an awful, repetitive build but there is really is no alternative when you are building something like this and this is probably true for manufacturing a real life Ferris Wheel as well. This set is a gorgeous display piece, with a really nice selection of minifigures and I currently have it in the middle of a block of modular buildings as it towers over the people ready for a mechanical malfunction to annihilate my town! (that or a Stay Puft AKA toddler attack) I will add alternative colors to the carriages but they haven't arrived yet.

June 6, 20169 yr Popular Post Built this bad boy over the weekend. I was up until 1:30 on Saturday night working on it. I thought about making the final push that night to finish but decided I had had one too many whiskey's at that point. Good thing I didn't, my 3 year old was up at 6:15 ready to go!!! TF looks way better than I thought it would. Now I have to figure out what to build next, Slave 1, Ferris Wheel, or start down the Modular rabbit hole!
June 7, 20169 yr Popular Post We finished 75102 Poe's X-wing a couple of days ago, our first X-wing to build. My son loves it because it has 6 different things that shoot. It was a pretty fun build, but I still don't think we are going to rush out and buy the Resistance X-Wing as well. The kids are working on the Phantom while I am at work today.
June 7, 20169 yr Popular Post Built two small sets last night for display on my desk at work: 41567 Skulzy - probably my new favorite Mixel 30472 Parrot
