What LEGO set did you build today?

I'm going to be finishing up building my Slave 1 that I got half way through yesterday, and then when that's done, I'll be working on the Ewok Village.

I received the DO today from Lego. I started building it this evening and finished the ground floor (bags 1 and 2).

The looks are very impressive. What a wonderful modular. Although the build is not so challenging.

8039 Venator-Class Republic Attack Cruiser

The joy of sorting loose LEGO, it took me about an hour.

A very cool build.  I really really like this ship.

It is a nice looking ship, did you get a good deal on it? Takes me back a few years, that was the very first set I ever bought for resale. Always wanted to crack one open but ended up letting them all go.

I traded for it on BrickTrader. :)

very nice, a lot of work ( could of got hcx to do that for you in a good year or so)  but still nice lol

so close to the 10k

we could figure out an equation to when the time will be or you could just answer 1 response to 15 different threads and be done with the suspense.

For good measure seeing its right before 11 and based on your daily amount of posts we will go with 1/17/2015 as the trivia question for when Exciter hit 10k

Bold Arrow I hope you are taking notes and watching this post.  Just making them up for you lol

Well, for that big post, I would really like to post something like this classic.

I bunch of threads were merged to make this summary.

LOL , I summarized 3 things out of the first 2 pages of the 18 page thread summary ( to much for me to read at this time of the night and the state of mind I am in)

1.  Most of the posts made were not people posting 1.5 years later

2.  The shortest Emazers post in a very long time and not signed "Ed"  (6 words and possibly 1.5 years later)

3.  An Ice Cube reference which in my very strange world is priceless as I graduated that year (yes 1993 seems a very long time ago but is still younger then most of the senior posters on this site which in a weird way makes me feel good lol)

Maybe tomorrow when I feel a little more motivated while in Nashville I will read the rest.

Oh and don't think for a moment if I can get my Niko Papa...  however you spell its names new business address I will take a photo of the legends place of work and post it here for all the world too see!!!

Two in last few days:

75054 AT-AT. Holy technic! A lot of structure build in this one and lots of duplication of steps, but the ways they came up with the perfect angles was very interesting and the end result is a sweet display piece.

8482- Hogwarts Castle. In stark contrast this set was very little technic and mainly bricks. The HP sets are all about the tiny details and this one was a blast to build and is going to be a flip piece for me, though it will be hard to part with.

^ I found 8482 to be the same.  I also built it to flip.  I really enjoyed putting it together.  Definitely a lot of detail and playability.

Last night, we put together the Double Decker Couch and the Friends Wish Fountain.  We also put together Star Wars Planets Bespin and SW Microfighters X-Wing.

10246 DO, the first 2 elevations. After wintersport vacation I will finish it. It looks great!!

Anybody else on the border of jumping into Modular building but haven't because of space issues?

My (personal) problem is that once started, I'd have to DO IT ALL... including ones already retired.

That would get expensive fast... I'd have to do retired set trades!   :heat:

4842?

I am probably in the minority on this one, but I think all the buildings put together looks a little cluttered, and therefore have not been tempted to rip open my sealed sets to add to my parisian restaurant, which I feel displays well on its own.

DO is pretty tempting though...
