May 24, 20169 yr I just can't get into these. My brother has given my son a few of these as gifts, and while they are interesting builds, I just find them a little dull so I'd rather just buy the normal lego sets and skip these all together. We collect the black series, so it just seems like if you want to collect figures, that's the better route. I have no idea how these will pan out as an investment, but I suspect like most SW lines, they'll easily double.
May 24, 20169 yr Part of the report. Leaked catalogue image shows the three previously reported buildable figures from Star Wars: Rogue One. From left to right the buildable figures are main protagonist Jyn Erso, Death Trooper and sidekick and ex-Imperial interrogation droid K-250. Set numbers (75119/104 pieces, 75120/169 pieces and 75121/106 pieces) are known but their assignments are not. These sets are expected to be released for this September's Force Friday event.

I thought this was a family-friendly site ..... ;-)

June 2, 20169 yr Just a general question. What are everyone's thoughts on the investment factor for the Lego Star Wars buildable figures? Yeah or nea?
June 2, 20169 yr We have a thread in the Star Wars forum discussing this. I'm going to lock this thread and let you take in all the good talk there.
November 29, 20169 yr The Phasma buildable was £9.02 at Tesco in the 3-for-2 deal, which made it that you could get 3 for less than the RRP of 1. I'm far from convinced about these figures (I definitely echo the sentiment about them not feeling very Lego-y), but it would've been rude to have turned down that sort of price, for a cool-looking character who may yet turn out to be a significant player in Ep 8.
March 4, 20178 yr I was a believer in these buildable, however it seems that apart from general grevious the rest are duds. Most have been half price throughout shelf life and no-one is picking them up. Things may change once retired but unfortunately future doesn't look good. Darth Vader and the new stormtrooper on the speeder bike should do good.

Phasma also features in Ep 8 and is one of the better performing buildables. £9 delivered is not a bad deal for an entry price. Even cheapest on Bricklink is £12+ Edited March 4, 20178 yr by Villager Chris
March 4, 20178 yr They are garbage and always will be. I've said so from the beginning and been rebuffed, but there's no movement to even reach original retail on any of these. Caveat emptor.
March 5, 20178 yr I have grabbed a few due to price. Luke for $6 will turn a profit easily I think. They won't be big gainers though, I agree. K2SO could maybe be a sleeper if it was discounted enough. That is a cool one and looks great sitting here on my desk.
March 5, 20178 yr My closing KMart still has a bunch of these for 50% off. I may grab a few if they make it to 60% off.
March 5, 20178 yr I bought Plasma and Stormtrooper for $11 each today (NIB). I like them as they are nice to display behind all other Lego as they tower over them to give the Lego display some depth and height without having to make a stand for them to prop them up. Vader was at $21.
March 5, 20178 yr Yesterday I bought 5 Vaders, 21 each, I guess this will take some time to appreciate, but vader is vader... I have faith in him..... I have 5 Grevious and 5 stormtroopers that I got really cheap, 18 for grevoius and 11 for the stormtroopers..... I might get more vaders.... if they go below 21....

March 5, 20178 yr Grievous, which I think is by far the best, has been gone from retail a fair while here. Quick eBay check shows him still languishing at rrp. Shame , cause it's a great looking figure. I have 4 I got for aud$25 ages ago. Seeems I may be holding for some time yet.
March 5, 20178 yr Only 199 GG´s to go at TRU here. Couldn´t shift many at 40% off a month back so no worries there.
March 5, 20178 yr I have a few of the others and to be honest I wish I'd never bought them. Never did buy the people versions tho. They're terrible. Seems there is still a retail supply of these here so maybe when that's gone Greivous will rise.
March 5, 20178 yr If Vader had retired last Xmas like GG, I´d still have given it a chance but with a 2 year production there is no chance. A very low buy-in is the only salvation.
March 5, 20178 yr Even Vader looks weird when his cape moves and you can see his skinny little body lol. Know what you mean tho . Over production has ruined any investment potential. Anyway, never EVER be as cool as our technic rolling destroyer droid. That thing is mint.
March 5, 20178 yr I have built Vader and Ren to have in my office and really think they look good, I also have Jango and Grevious to build and will buy Phasma and the First Order Trooper, but the human figure do look lame. I wasn't interested in these until I had seen them all built in a Lego Store. Edited March 5, 20178 yr by blocp13
March 5, 20178 yr I got some GG, what bothers me, is that it is still available at many retailers in Germany after quite a while after EOL. Does not seem to have enough demand, or just overproduced. I hope easter sales will get rid of the Stock.
