I recently got started in collecting Lego items but I need to redirect my effort to something else. During this short period of time, I gathered over 200+ new Lego's (mostly Star Wars, some POTC, Space and City). If I don't want to deal with ebay (high fees) or craigslist (scammer headaches), what would be my other options? Perhaps a Lego reseller? Because of the size of my collection, I would prefer to sell them as one package. Some of my items are: 9498 9489 9440 9491 8084 7929 8083 7741 3365 4436 6911 7914 etc

Legos are like anything else, if you sell it as one package it will take the least amount of your time and you will get the least amount of money. It seems like your sets are mostly newer, smaller sets so I would guess you won't get back what you paid for them at this time. I would imagine there is likely someone here that would be interested but many people here don't generally purchase any Lego sets without at least a 20% discount. If someone here is interested they will likely email you, but you should repost this thread at different times of the day and on different days of the week for exposure. You could always sell it to a store (some of the members here are retailers) but they would expect at least a 30% discount over retail maybe more.

@Talon Thanks for the suggestion. Five things: 1. I will verify my inventory this afternoon and post exactly what I have on hand and the price I am looking for. 2. Absolutely NO SHIPPING. You need to be in central NJ (near zip code 07921). 3. If we agree on a deal, we will need to exchange information from state-issued driver's licenses. I will attest that these items were personally purchased by me (another words, they did not fall off a truck, etc.) 4. You will need to bring a bank check and cash it at a branch near me while I am present. 5. Money and item exchange will take place at a local police station parking lot to ensure your safety Sorry if these are rather stringent terms but I have had my share of Craigslist scammers and I really do not have time such shenanigans. At the same time, I hope these steps show you that I am not out to scam you either.

Unless you are deeply discounting your sets, those rules are going to really limit your buyers. You will be hard pressed to find people willing to go through all that unless you are knocking off 50% or more off retail. Nevertheless, good luck.
