I just found some info online that there will be a special Record Store Day 2015 Lego Move vinyl soundtrack with collectible poster. Anyone who is familiar with Record Store day knows the releases are super limited to 500 to 2000 total made and I am hoping there will be some lego bricks in addition to the limited edition poster. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

I've never done Record Store Day before. How do you get one of these extremely limited records? Can you preorder them? Does the record store know what they are getting? 

 

Seems like it'd be impossible to get one.

Record Store Day is in April and is when the releases can only be found at independent record stores and places like Best Buy and Target do NOT get these releases. I don't know which part of the country you live in but here is a website with a store locator. http://www.recordstoreday.com Your best bet is to call ahead and put your name down on a list or unfortunately eBay is the only other way and the prices for these things on eBay get out of control. I am going to put in an order for several of them and see what happens - if I am fortunate enough to purchase several I would certainly be happy to help another BP out who wants one.

To clarify: The Amazon pre order is for the regular version only. the Limited Edition Record Store Day version will be released in B&M indie records stores on Saturday April 18h. I can also confirm that there are only 2000 of the Record Store Day version.

For the vinyl enthusiasts out there, you

I ended up placing a couple orders from zavvi.com after they were rumored to be sold out. I didn't think I would get anything but today I got a nice surprise in the mail!

 

I read they made 500 of each color, I ended up with 4 copies of red vinyl and one of them is #000001 as shown in the photo! Never expected that! If anyone ends up with an extra yellow and wants to trade for a red, keep me in mind. 

 

Time to break out the wheels of steel.. lol

This is the special Record Store Day release of the LEGO movie soundtrack which came out today- the included poster is incredible.  I am the manager of a record store so this is by far my favorite release from today - just thought I would share!!

hit 1 store and they only got 1 copy and missed out on it.
