What should not be posted... how to circumvent any ways to reuse codes not meant for reuse.

In past years it's popped in and out of stock over the course of a couple months, so good chance you'll see it again. You might want to keep that tab monitored though as it will probably sell out quick in the restocks.

Picked up two for the kids at Walmart on my way to work.

I suspect if you try to get any after 9am today, you will be out of luck.

So much for this. I sent my wife yesterday to get two of each so my kids could each have one. They said sorry they go out thursday, but not to worry because there is a limit of two. Yeah im guessing thats not being enforced.

The limit will probably be enforced, but many will try to get around it by bringing a friend or ten.

Or more simply buying two, taking them to the car, then going back and buying another two. Repeat.

Thanks to megahuts reply i sent her to wm on her way to work. She picked up 4 yellow and two green. So much for limits though right? I dont know why she got so many i've only got four kids;maybe she's thinking gifts. I don't deal in classic. Unless she's starting her own selling. Hmmmm.

Funny how you can tell some of the pictures were taken in the trunk of the car or the passenger seat haha. I remember doing that when i found The End Minecraft cube a couple weeks early before official release and wanted to flip it asap.

There's a couple right now on eBay with asphalt as the background... if that's one of you BP'ers, come on... you should at least use the trunk of your vehicle as Sandwraith suggests!

I ordered 3 last night just after midnight.  Order seemed to have gone through no problem and I received email confirmation from Walmart.ca.

Not flipping these.  2 will be added to the pile of existing Lego for my kids, and 1 will be given as a gift.

No local listings for me either. I think the early street date caught a bunch of people sleeping. These have always been released on BF before instead of a day or two early.

I just happened to search last night out of curiosity and saw they were in stock online.

The last couple years they've shown up on the Tuesday before BF 'round here, in the smaller walmarts anyway.  Since the loading doc is always a full disaster area this time of year they just move them right onto the floor to get them out of the way.   Trucks must come in Monday & Wednesday evenings - their second appearance is always just before closing on the Wednesday. only the duplo survives past Thursday 8am. 

Kijiji $75 listings started Monday in anticipation, but they are already feeding on each other and dropping to $65 by today.

Went in at 7am opening this morning. About 10 other folks waiting outside with me. Every single person B-Lined to the Lego section for Brick Boxes. The skid was nearly half empty 7 minutes after opening. Picked up 2, they were enforcing the limit, but I made a killing on these last year, and I'm willing to take an earful if needed to easily double my money in mere weeks. This is a well known deal that's run every year for a few in a row now. If the moaning parents didn't manage to get one or both of my copies, someone else would have. Snooze you loose seems very applicable here. 

That said, checking stock tracker now it says my store still has Limited Quantity. I'm amazed if that's true, 8 hours later!

I disagree.  This is a limited supply item and just QFLL making a couple bucks making parents pissed off.

I ended up having no problem getting 8 boxes.  Was expecting to get at most 2.

I'm never bought these or plan to take advantage of the discount on these. But I really don't care to hear about about pissed off parents who feel entitled that other's are responsible for their children's happiness. This is par for course EVERY Christmas season and buying toys for kids, people need to acknowledge the whole hypocrisy of commercialism of X-mas and trying to make a buck as opposed to what X-mas was celebrated for in the first place.

I typically will wait to sell mine until after Christmas to avoid that hypocrisy. That's when everyone has some extra cash on hand from the gift-givers that didn't know what to give, allowing them to get what they want. 

As for "a few dollars profit".... I more than doubled in less than 3 months. I don't see how this set is any different than ANY other set we inflate prices on, after EOL. It's a unique box that I only ever see in this 2 or 3 day window up here in Canada... so as far as availability, it's like it's retired already. If people are willing to pay me $125 CAD for 1500 bricks, that's the value, not the $40 Walmart price tag. As an analogy, would anyone here entertain a buyer who's buying a recently EOL set that's shot up in price, and demand you give them the last TRU/Walmart/Wherever sale price instead? I doubt it. I don't!

So in regards to everyone commenting about "pissing parents off for a few bucks profit...", can any of you point out a better CAGR please? Would love to know about that hidden gem if it exists...
