As long as the I-Rex isn't missing i'd say you'll be fine. Figures aren't really worth stealing from this set.

they also had 2beat up spaceports for 120...lol ...would not take them for 60

yeah.... only thing that seems interesting is the irex and the ball gizmo. off to do some research on both sets... havnt had either yet

Probably hardly worthy of note, but it appears walmart.ca has Spaceport available for order online at a clearance price of $120 down from $150. As Veegs says, better deals on this are likely to come, but if you really needed some to start making your number sooner than later, they're there. Swamp Police Station and Demolition Site also, but only marked down $10. 

Well its been a week or so since i set foot into a walmart.. decided to check out the 2 closest to me.. 

 

Nothing..  on sale or clearance.

My Grand Emporium actually showed up today.  The box has been opened and resealed with packing tape so I opened it and checked it out.  All the bags inside appear to be sealed still, so that's good I guess.  I'm not sure what I want to do with it now, I'm tempted to build it but I think I might try and see if I can trade it for a Sea Cow somehow.  Not sure how realistic that is.

I got 2 of them and 1 of them the box was opened as well.  I checked the # of bags and one of the bags had a rip in it. Oh wells, I'm giving that one away, hopefully the parts are all there.

There was absolutely nothing lego in the clearance section at Brossard, except for 3 Jokerland sets for 25$ a pop! Which I scooped up even though I had no cart. If there were more, I would have been totally stressed to find a cart!!!

Lesson learned, always go in with a cart

I didn't know this set, and it's a total color freakshow to look at, so I wasn't sure it was a Lego product. I had to look it over properly to make sure. At 1100 pieces or so, it`s a no brainer.

Boxes are sealed and look good, but they are not mint. you can tell that they have been moved around when you catch the light on them. Otherwise good condition.

Guys, hate to break up the party but Walmart's price matching policy specifically states no clearance items. As such, images of receipts from clearance merch will no longer be allowed to be posted on the forums.

FWIW Toys R US will happily price match an image of a receipt from another TRU or local competitor, but not for clearance items.

(and yes, I know the receipts don't say clearance so use your judgement if you'd like to be 'that person' who tries it)

For anyone in Ottawa the only deal I found was 79504 - Mystery Mansion for $80(2 left) at Walmart on Innes Rd. I did manage to get a price match at ToyRUs if they call and product in stock. They did NOT price match my receipt from Wal-Mart. 

60062  - Arctic Icebreaker for $104 only 2 left at ToyRUs Kanata

You guys are lucky in Toronto and out West.

Dont think i will see $25 Jokerland around here, but nice find! I wonder why they discount them so deeply though, they must have blown a good portion of their clearance budget on those few sets alone.

lol... the price was 50 and discounted to 25. As if they had been selling them for 50$ regularly. I dunno but I think it`s a one off type of thing. They were busy tagging stuff and moving stuff around so i asked the lady if they had anymore in back and she said no, everything she had was on the floor.

Like I said, they had nothing else on liquidation or on special .... nada, zilch ... nothing!!

You guys will just have to be creative... there is nothing wrong with posting that you've seen clearance or purchased at clearance prices, but since price matching a clearance price at either TRU or Walmart is against their price match policy, the view here on Brickpicker is that we just simply can't support price matching strategies that violate those policies. I'll call it the slippery slope policy....

If you buy something on sale or on clearance, by all means the details can be shared, but only receipts from non-clearance items will be allowed in the forums. If you think about it, that means it likely has a lower RRP in the first place or the 'on-sale price' is advertised somewhere.

PM me if you want a copy of my receipt for the jokerland at 25$. I honestly don't think it'll work, but let me know if it does
