I don't think WM price match other store's clearance prices. I was told each store gets a different budget to price their clearance items.

For what it is worth, I hope you get price matching.

FYI, I would recommend checking your overstocked Walmarts, as the one I visited literally redid the shelf layouts this past weekend.

AND these clearance items were in the sports section on the aisle ends, not in the Lego or toy section.

FYI, I didn't see Poe's Xwing listed in the new shelf plan....

it wasn't too long ago when the only reason i'd be in a Walmart was to pick up diapers.  My wife and I are cracking up about me running out the door as soon as I saw mega's post.  Good times.

Normaly for any price adjustment Invoice or ads .. you need a date on your paper/proof ...

Has anyone seen these prices elsewhere? I was told they wouldn't match a clearance price - only advertised sale or regular price from a competitor.

Burlington North eh!?  My neck of the woods! Always makes me wonder how many of us have crossed paths and not noticed before..

Checked a couple on my way to work - nothing priced as clearance yet, but they are definitely gearing up for it as they are redoing the toy section in most and lots of overstock has been thrown in clearance "sections" like below:

I'd be all over the JW stuff if it were actually clearance priced, but alas. Surprised to see some TFA sets here... but they just re-did the LEGO section and there was no spot for them, odd.

There should be spots for at least the T Tex Tracker. It was on the planogram for the Burlington North Walmart.

Maybe this Walmart didn't have the same space.

And yes, the Burlington North Walmart is, for reasons I do not understand, fully stocked with Lego compared to the Burlington South Walmart, which is virtually empty.

Yeah this was an Etobicoke location in the picture, not as big as Burlington North! Which by the way is probably my favourite Walmart in the GTA. As you mentioned; they always seem to have the most stock in the area, and they have that revamped LEGO section that so few have.

No spots on shelves for JW at this location, but i take that absence with a grain of salt anyways.

Well i will check my local walmarts today and see if i can do any arm twisting.

Let us know if anyone is successful with price matching. I would love to get some more Jokers at other Walmarts.

whole lego section is off online.. trying search lego.. return to homepage.. my quick links to lego are returning to main page.. wounder is an major uptade or juste a bug

How did that conversation go?

Failed @ 2st one, told me I must have the actual physical with me invoice.

Second one, all good.  Called the manager over phone and told manager if invoice was ok, manager said yes.  But manager never came to the cash register.

Once they told me ok and started to scan the box, I said please put qty 5, Il go take the rest on the shelves, said sure no prob.

 

Dang, I never seem to get these caliber of deals around me (best I've seen is darkseid invasion @$63 down from $90 I think). If any of you manage to snag one or more of those command shuttles on clearance I'd really appreciate a picture of the receipt!

Checked both of my local markets.  Not much to speak for.  But I did notice price tags up for upcoming Star Wars sets.

Nothing great at my local WM.  They had about 10 Enders Dragons for $63 IIRC and a bunch of Chima and Bionicle sets on clearance.  There was an empty spot on the Shelf for Poes

Had a good morning - one WM had nothing at all on clearance but did shows signs of reorganizing of the section so I'll be checking back every Friday after my daughter's gymnastics until they sort things out. Second WM was sweet. Train Stations for $40, Demolition Sites for $50, Deep Sea Helicopter $30, RAPTOR ESCAPES! $25 Swamp Police Crooks Hideout for $40. Rainforest Animals $10 and then some smaller sets (the $15.99 ones...Swamp police and Pirates and such) were a flat $5.

This WM also has 24 Scooby Mansions and 16 Spaceports in the clearance area but aren't marked down yet. I'll be monitoring like crazy, or I can try to PM. I didn't have my phone but will go back later to take pictures of the tags and then I was going to try to combine my pictures of the price tags with my receipt from this morning to get TRU to price match. I was thinking about trying to clear my TRU of the Demo site at $50. I can text those photos to other Canadians if you want to try this route. It might not be until late afternoon, but I'm happy to help if anyone is interested.

Awesome find with the RE! I had a local one clearance them back before in November or something for $25, nice to see others following suit (even if i haven't seen them in stores since before x-mas).

Still not finding anything on clearance worth mentioning yet, but i'll be watching.

RE possibly having a more wide-spread clearance is promising for all the other JW stuff stuffed into overstock sections

Windsor East on Tecumseh Rd. The Windsor Dougall location looked like clearance might be ready next week or so?
