In Germany no one..

In US there is a seller with 16 of them at $49.99 - would the $ be not such strong as it is at the moment it would make sense to buy them and pay also duties and shipping for them... Would be still a big gain afterwards...

(Actually I've done it similar way for 100 MRs ;-)

Same is more or less true for the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 set. A few (2 or 3) small toystores specialised in Lego sold it briefly with a marked up price (€55 or €60 compared to the €50 of LEGO Shop at Home). Looks like they bought it from LEGO Shop at Home directly and resold it with a mark-up in the store.

Checked eBay.nl and Marktplaats.nl just now for the Birds set. Number of sets on offer is pretty small. Still possible to get it for ~ €60, excluding shipping.

I think the situation for this set in the US is going to be very different from Europe. It's available for sale almost everywhere, and even now there are hundreds of resellers on Ebay and Amazon.

I've decided not to bother as there's no way we can compete if the US ships to Europe. However, I'd still like one to display.

No risk, shipping costs and customs fees for such a cheap set will outweigh the benefit and the USD is strong.

By the way the 100 Euro border has been broken few months ago and now we achieve slowly 150 Euro...

It was about 2011 (I have checked my LEGO order history), I have bought previously 25 Green Grocers, so I have hoarded about 300 Euro VIP points. 

Afterwards I have ordered some other sets paing with these VIP points...

They have been not subtracted, so I have ordered again some sets with these VIP points...

And third time lucky, they haven't been subtracted again... So I have ordered the third time with the same VIP points. :-)

Beside this, I have not hacked their site but they had a software problem regarding VIP points...

I got 4 today from SAH, 

I wanted this set right when it came out.  Just been waiting.
