Not sure but there was a "build-a-horse activity" on January 2014 at legoland malaysia, to build set 40035 :

It will be an exclusive to the region of China only like the last one. The English packaging is just a standard.

Nothing released officially (aside from a small promo for The Lego Movie) therefore a member on Eurobricks made these.
