I believe it has more display ability then the Red 5. Seemingly produced in similar mass quantities. I'd guess after retirement it will sit at 280 for quite some time. Depending on buy in this would be an easy 50-80$ profit.

im not too optimistic .... guessing $50 would be good , but sad in plenty of ways.

I never seen huge discounts in the UK. 20% off from Lego has been about as good as it gets. Maybe some occasional discounts from TRU.

Its a great display piece so should do ok post retirement.

TRU blew it out for 105 here a year ago. People are still slow flipping them for 140-150.

I just sold one last week for $290 shipped. So after fees I netted $232.30. So for $140 it isn't looking so bad for you considering its Red 5.

No Red 5. Sorry, that was a little misleading. Red 5 has been a turd. But since many think the same of Tie Fighter you should be able to sell for the same if you hold for a while.

I don't think Red 5 is a turd. It won't be remade for the next several years, and the value of a MISB/NISB will steadily increase. Maybe not as fast as speculators had hoped for, but people looking for spectacular increases should move over to cryptocurrencies.  

I expect the same from 75095. Not a QF set for sure, but give it five years and it will see a healthy value increase.

new x wing is expected later this year.
The Red Five isn't a turd but smaller iterations doen't make this set appealing in potential customer's eyes.
This set will never success imo the way other sets SW performed over time post eol for that reason alone plus
new "classic" X-Wing expected to be released later this year so it won't make it any better for this set performance wise.

Different target markets. UCS collectors and AFOLS will want the bigger ones and kids will get the small ones.

TIE retiring allowed me to sell my last Red 5 as people want both in a bundle.

It really is a shame that red 5 hasnt performed as well as hoped. It is a beautiful set. But at this point its only pulling in about $30 to 40 above rrp after fees three years after its retired. I hope Tie fighter performs better but I highly doubt it especially given that it was discounted here in us. I only purchased 1 tie for personal collection and I am glad I did. Red 5 taught me a lot.

I'm hoping the bad guy factor comes into play with this. I collected all of the G1 Transformers a few years back & couldn't help noticing that the Decepticons were generally far rarer & pricier

than the Autobots. The Tie is a more simple design but has that cool menacing look going on. They even sound better than the X-Wings.
