still not really sold on the set thou.  Truck-good, Excavator-kinda boring, conveyer belt - not really a necessity... as it is.

Interesting you mention that, I honestly quite like it! Only thing is the price, there is no way I can justify $60 for it even if I admire the set. $29.99 seems more reasonable, maximum $34.99, how Lego thought they could justify x2 that I have no idea, really is an extreme example of MSRP inflation/exploitation depending on your POV.

something's fishy with that price... it's 20 cents an element, many of the other city sets are 12 - 16 cents an element or better.

I would blame (some) it on the conveyer belt and some old pieces (yellow trapzoid pieces for one) being brought back. Molds might've needed a clean up and it always costs money to add another piece into production. Although even with all of that, it still isn't worth it. And two figures? Phff..
