Here is Version 1.0 of the Brickpicker LEGO Stock Tracker.  There will be a few different pages and trackers released over the coming days.  This one here will be one that is updated very frequently.  This list here will not grow to 100 sets or anything like that.  I want to keep it focused on key sets that are desirable and sought after.  This tracker will also be enhanced over the next few days to setup alerts via the site as well as email and SMS.  I have included the current price on the site as well as an alert icon if the current price is higher that retail MSRP.  You will also see how long ago the in-stock status was checked. This page also works well on mobile devices. 

 

For now this page is open to everyone to see what it is, but as I finish the upgrades you will need to be a member and be logged into the site in order to access it.

 

As I mentioned earlier, there will be other pages that will be monitoring all of the sets stock and prices on Amazon, Target, LEGO, Walmart and TRU.  These should be live by next week if not sooner.  

 

We will use the thread to discuss adding or removing sets on this list of constant updates.  I hope you like the start, it will continue to improve. Let me know your thoughts.

This is still technically a work in progress that I want people to start looking at.  I will get it into the menus soon.

I finally checked this out on the PC. Looks great with all the changes, I especially like the ghosting, it puts the eyes where they need to go. Too bad it wasn't up and running for BF/CM, that would have been awesome for you guys doing the serious deal hunting.

In the future will canadian retailers be an option for this? I'm sure you 'mericains can benefit from knowing what our stock/price situation is too.

I read what you wrote here and I understand some of your points, but in the end, isn't this really just your preference on how you look at things?  Some of your statements sound like they are speaking for the masses.  I am sure Jeff can add a poll here and ask people.  Do you prefer amazon on the left or the right and in the end, you may be right, but you also may be wrong.  It's up to him.

I think the Farnsworth page on TRU is dead now.  When I clicked it I got an error.  It was only in-store pickup anyway.  I wonder if that means they don't have any in stores according to their system anymore?

 

And I haven't chimed in yet about how incredible awesome this is!  If I ever win the lottery I will send you my stash of SSDs as a thank you!

Is there a way to stop the page from refreshing at 30 sec?  I would rather manually refresh because as I am browsing the data, the page reloads on me.

yeah allow the user to enable/disable the refresh timer via checkbox maybe
