Asking the important questions...will the Hellicarrier fly?

I didn't see an M-motor (8883) or a battery box amongst the wreckage...redo the test!

1 storey? Hardly enough time to get those four big motors spinning. ;)

I am always perplexed and pleased to see people do this with their expensive LEGO.

I would hope this was built with old already damaged Lego.

Was it only me or did anyone else flinch and cringe at the real-time impact sound?? That impact sound was like nails on a chalkboard for me.

To think some people would be grateful just to have a simple polybag. For $350, I'd be taking care of that model day & night just like Randy Marsh did with his big crap.

The crash at 0:55 sounded the worst. You could feel the hard smack of all those pieces. :scare:

It was strangely satisfying to see that thing explode. Kinda like when Letterman would throw stuff off the roof.

Now no longer a SAH exclusive..

Where? ToysRus?

Not yet but a number of online stores are now listing it. That would have made it a 6 month exclusive.

Its been available through TRU (with Mark up) for a while. Others I have not noticed.

I thought Target was supposed to PM Amazon & Walmart...At $384.99 they're not helping me, if this thing really does retire early.

Temporarily Out of Stock at LEGO Shop at Home Europe. Another victim of the horde grabbing it for double VIP points?

I actually think Lego is putting these as temp out of stock so that the hoard cannot get them. It would make sense.

I actually think Lego is putting these as temp out of stock so that the hoard cannot get them. It would make sense.

But by doing that they would be preventing customers from buying their product. If they wanted to drastically limit resellers there would be better ways of going about it than pulling stock. For example setting a limit of 1 per item while monitoring accounts more vigorously for suspicious buying patterns. They could also remove the free items during double VIP. While resellers make it difficult for Lego to manage stock levels we also are responsible for creating huge profits for them. The recent articles about Lego struggling to maintain demand is the most likely reason and there's probably nothing sinister about it.
