5 year old set on shelf at store - has this ever happened to you?

Featured Replies

So i was walking around Meijer yesterday and on the shelf were these two retired sets on the shelf. they did not have a tag or anything, they were just sitting there. I know these were not there the week prior so they must have been hidden in the stockroom or something. Any anyone experienced this before?

This past Febuary, I found a lone 10212 Imperial Shuttle sitting on a shelf in TRU. When I asked an employee about it, he said they had just found it in the back room.

How much was it??

here prices are 2x-3x US retail, but I recently found the outlet store where they send all the LEGO they don

Yes, 10188 Death Star.

Apart from that there's a store in my area specialized in Lego that has some older sets (but not so popular ones like Prince of Persia).

In normal stores not really.
