Hi, Is there any existing part that anyone knows of that could maybe do the detail on this door knocker?

Needs to be small scale with not too much depth/length etc.

 

May be nothing that exists but thought I'd ask on behalf of a friend.

Already had a quick look on rebrickable etc but thought this might be quicker.

Using the round tile of second picture bellow it and x-pin to support it. Might ned to modify a little how the ring is supported but I think it is manageable. 

There is this brand new 2x2 round tile with a hole in the middle.

I can't tell if you may have already tried this part in the third image.

Only thing coming to mind right now is the lion head cutout part but that may be too big for a door knocker let alone just the door.

Is there a way to attach the Medusa head to that? Scale would not be perfect, but it would get the point across.

Or the crown from the Statue of Liberty mini figure.

Hi. Was already considered but too big and too deep. Thanks for suggestion though

In view of migrations suggestion, I suggest using some combination of these

and a bunch of other parts/clips in reddish brown in the background to hold them and the medusa face and ring. The scale might go to twice the scale of the original propositions unless you find a clever way to cramp it all in and give the circle effect.

I like that if has some gold in mouth so it will combine well with the golden ring.

What about the mask of a Legend of Chima minifigure? Maybe the characters named Lagravis or Laval (although there may be other options too, I'm not familiar with these minifigures)? While the mask could provide some depth, which is what you are looking for, it alone wouldn't have flare outs all around the face. However, if you could find something relatively flat to create the flare out effect underneath, maybe the mask could be placed on top?

 

Dare I say, you may need to modify by cutting the back off the mask so it doesn't stick out too far and possibly give it a paint job?

 

I looked at some pictures of the sanctuary knocker online and it seems it has hollow eyes, which a Chima mask could also provide.
