  • I definitely want this set! One reason: the tires. The last time those tires were made in black was in some space sets in the 90's.

  • The set in the front we already know and may already be able to purchase however if you glance towards the back of the display, you can spot something new with a "Jaws" character and shark to match. A

I agree that the box looks a little small, but the set is amazing! Lego did a really good job with these Ultra Agents sets.

i Like this boat. It is like the dolphin cruiser for boys And will likely be very popular amonst boys.

!

Dolphin cruiser Vs UA ship... this would be fun to be displayed ! :D

I think lego must have noticed that many boys and men are actually buying the dolphin cruiser for themselves. So it is only logical that lego makes a ultra agent cruiser to satisfy this untapped market.

ultra agents are super cool and should have a higher profile in brickpicker. It deserves its own sub forum header.

That could make some sense because the 2008-2009 sets could fit in too.

BTW I've been like thunderstruck by the uglyness of some ennemies:

"lol", just "lol". Impressive that lego didn't instantantly died after releasing such "robots" in their sets...

Saw the Copter tonight at TRU and have to say it was pretty cool looking.  Reminded me of Blue Thunder.

Cue the DR youtube video.  I saw your Airwolf one the other day.

I actually had to look Blue Thunder up :D  I am going to bow to experience on this one

(Lol it had Dana Carvey AND Hightower from Police Academy)

LOL, I just remember it as a kid.  I saw the movie then the TV show came out.  I looked it up again too and saw Dana Carvey, seemed an odd casting choice seeing how his career turned out.  2 Football players too lol.

I'd probably watch it now and be very unimpressed.

Helicopters were in back then with Airwolf following and Magnum using one too.

LEGO is just revisiting the 80s

Between Thunder in Paradise, Thunder in Your Heart, and now Blue Thunder, the forum has one heck of a storm brewing here I tell you what. :wizard: Well airplanes may win a straight out race through the sky but helicopters still are kings of the maneuver specially in urban environments.

I purposely left out the most obvious one: Thundercats, since Chima was so 2014 ;)

Regarding the AppBricks: the LEGO website has this explanation for what they are and about:

http://www.lego.com/en-us/ultraagents/app-brick

It would appear that the pattern of the bricks in the gadget on the touchscreen is the key to interacting with the Ultra Agents App and getting clues on the villain, or something like that.

So, would you say that you probably don't really need to buy all the sets and construct all the gadgets to interact with the app, you just need enough AppBricks and access to the building instructions to figure out how to MOC their pattern?

Spyclops (2 bricks) and MSRP $10

Invizable (2 bricks) MSRP $20

Drillex (3 bricks) MSRP $30

Stealth Patrol (4 bricks) MSRP $50

UltraCopter (4 bricks) MSRP $80

Total = 15 Appbricks

Super simple pattern for Spyclops (2-in-a-row) and Drillex (3-in-a-row), a large X or + pattern for the copter, a rectangle with 2 on a side for Stealth Patrol, and a 2 stud spacer for Invizable.

I parted out Stealth Patrol and all I'm left with is figuring out how to market those carbon-infused bricks.

Figure parents that like the App for their kid aren't interested in paying $190, regardless of whether the set is kind of cool (and some of them are cleverly done).

Like the boat at 1200+ pieces. The hideout is ok.

Series 2 of this line has the boat as the set to get.

Looks like they are the Legoland Earth-based version of Blacktron II. I rather like the sets.
