Newish to lego, might finally have enough bulk lego to try and build something other than the random houses the kids try to make.

Question is: are there some basic modulars that can be built without too many headaches? I looked up instructions to the bike shop/cafe and I am limping together a pink one, is there a good starter building that I can sub pieces with?
