A while ago i build the 10221 SSD and also posted it somewhere around here.

 

In my mind i thought it would be a nice idea to decorate it with small Tie-Fighters and a micro Tantive, Tie Bomber.

Every brick for this arrived today. I am dissapointed with the result myself but i decided to share it here anyway.

 

It was dark outside, photos are kinda darkish. Sorry for that.

The stands are hmz... I think just too much of them.

Great display! I see a lot of TIE Figthers, but there could be some X-Wings added there to. It would be awesome to see a mini space battle around the SSD.

This is precisely the 1st thing that I thought.

I need to post pics of mine. I have it along with 6 small ISDs, 2 of the MIDI ISDs and then I am going to add the bigger ISD somewhere I just built. Looks pretty good.

I think you did the best you could with the Lego source material.  The problem is that the SSD is not to scale with anything.  Those TIE Fighters should be the size of gnats, and the Tantive IV maybe a cat flea?  The SSD is just too big to display accurately with anything short of a mini ISD.
