This is a set I have been waiting for personally. I love this set. I can tell you that I have ordered two already. One for putting away and one for putting in my foyer for Halloween. This set is an instant classic.

All that might happen is that somebody works on the website. I doubt that they disallow searching by set number for instance.

I just tried searching 10221 and it comes up the same as 10228.  It always asks me "Did you mean air?"

yeah, it's fixed now.  10228 is still searchable.

LEGO Shop at Home Europe: 'Call to check product availability', so I'm calling now, but I'm in the queue (surprising).

I agree with Ed Mack. Wish i would added more. Out of luck at this point i think. I cannot bring myself to pay over retail for an investment set.

Add my vote to that of the two fine gentleman above. I can see $700 on that set IF it is truly gone today.

Less hoarded. Once in a generation set. No future remakes likely. It can be used as a wonderful display piece every Halloween, which is the new cool holiday. Just a wonderfully creative and finished set.

On that note Ed I will change my card and take the chance on another HH. I guess if it comes mangled I can build this one.

There are times when it's worth it.  I learned that by watching some of the masters here.

 

I've purchased quite a few sets on the aftermarket, that I've been able to turn into a nice little profit.  You just have to do a lot of research, be picky, and take your time.

But I wouldn't pay $350 for that set. Check for better deals.

Under the current climate, I think doubling your money on FeeBay with any modular after fees/postage is being optimistic.  There a huge amount of selling competition now compared with the old Cafe Corner days.

HH should be fine. Others will have a long way to go.

Ummm.... It kind of already is minus a few bucks.

If it doesn't come back at all before Christmas I can see $400+. Amazon cheapest $346.99, EBay BIN about $330 and auctions quickly moving to $300 +.

Don't you think the price will level off once Halloween is over?
