I've given some to charity.

I think they are just trying to overload resellers with Chima polybags, so they'll drown in them.

There have been a lot of wacky theories floating around this topic but I think this one is the most plausible

I did and it lost internet on my phone then had to redo all the info because I was using my dads name because ive already ordered the limit in the past.

Two thoughts...

First: For people with cancelled orders; would the cancelled orders have placed you over the lifetime limit of 2?

Second: Pondering affiliate links; if I were paranoid I could see TLG using an affiliate link from Brinkpicker as de jure evidence of being a reseller.

My September order was my very first order of the HH and it was cancelled. Also my purchase history for lego only shows multiples of GE, nothing else.

If new orders get filled, this is a joke and shame on TLG.

Every time this happens I call Lego LEGO Shop at Home to ask why they cancel previous orders only to sell at a later date, and each time they straight up lie to me saying they always fill orders in chronological order and that they would never do what they just did this morning.  This has happened at least a dozen times in the last 5 years.

I dont think they will I think it was a sysyem error mess up when canceling those orders it put them back into the system

Later orders definitely got fulfilled last time with Vamp Hearse!

Well, you'd better remove the panties before they get bunched up.  You can expect it... This is a very similar scenario to the Big Zoo & Vampyre Hearse fiasco, but at least Martian Manhunter will move in the aftermarket.

Barring CC authorization, I received the confirmation email that they at least got my order.

Same thing happened with big zoo clearance. All early orders get cancelled. Last order in, first out - that's how they do it.

Before my cancellation of HH I had never ordered it before.

Mine is too, but if you click the order it says the Chima polybag is in process and the HH is backordered.
