This is a set I have been waiting for personally. I love this set. I can tell you that I have ordered two already. One for putting away and one for putting in my foyer for Halloween. This set is an instant classic.

Just noticed its sold out on us LEGO Shop at Home as well. Hopefully its gone for good!

I ordered yesterday, so at least I'm not last in line.  Not that it matters to Lego.

I'm too darn greedy... At first I thought 2 is enough. Then I thought 3, I'll keep one for myself. Then I thought I'll get two more so I can sell two when the price feels right, have the other two so I can brag about it and one to build myself.

 

Now it is gone.... I want 20 more...................

 

 

But this is my first big set to go retired so excited...............................and sad ....... at the same time.         

It may briefly reappear as orders are cancelled, returns come in etc but the set and the theme are done. Still waiting on backorders from 9/2 for LEGO Shop at Home but those may not get filled. Also have one on backorder from Amazon from last month but I don't expect that to get filled for sure.

Well, I think this should give Vampyre Castle and the rest of the theme a near term bump in sale prices.

With the SSD gone (almost in the EU), now the HH is gone...I hope we can say goodbye to the GE and TB sets before the end of the year.... then on the 31st of December I'll be playing Frank Sinatra - It was a very good year!

BTW because there was some (known) problems with some green bricks, I was wondering if the problem was in the 2012 and 2014 sets.

 

Note that I have 2013 and 2014 sets, and I was planning to sell 2014 first because of your post. ^^
