This is a set I have been waiting for personally. I love this set. I can tell you that I have ordered two already. One for putting away and one for putting in my foyer for Halloween. This set is an instant classic.

I received one ordered Sept 1st last week. 

Waiting on my other 2 from early backorder too.  Was tempted to buy more on ebay but prices have jumped nicely!

I'm waiting on a September 5 order... hoping maybe, just maybe it slips through the cracks. The price jump has been sweet. 

Does inability to order automatically imply that sets are no longer made? I thought TLC could occasionally make sets unavailable for retail stores, while still carrying them online. Or that's not true?

Im not informed that far but it was obvious sign that stock was depleting in my area and no stores were getting anymore. Still available online yes but thats your sign that if over a few months no store restocks its proably going soon.

That's what happened last year with the FB at my local Lego store. They stopped getting FB in June/July and then it went EOL toward the end of the year.

I too am waiting on mine that was back ordered from 2 sept. Good thing I wanted that spaceman promo!!

The last minute HH I ordered on September 17 just got cancelled. 

Well at least I got the classic spaceman for free.

I thought people got their backorders shipped for SSDs? only anything above qty 1 got cancelled

The ssd orders were fulfilled on that very last round.

hot cakes! sold 2 today and net doubled my money. holding onto the 3 left for a few weeks, these will get eaten up for halloween. I tip my hat to all those that managed to stash a few bundles of these at a discount.
