In my opinion (which admittedly isn't worth a lot on these things) the HH is a set that is nearly guaranteed to become a 4 figure set. I have no idea what the timeframe will be for that but given enough patience, I think it will get there. There is one on the table in front of me and I admire it every day, it's an awesome set. Couple that with the fact that a remake seems unlikely and I think its got a great future.

I'm not saying it'll be anytime soon, I'm thinking more in the long long term like 7+ years after official EOL. And I mean a barely 4 figure set, like $1100-1200.

Hounted house will be back for sale in a few weeks, lego LEGO Shop at Home played this "sold out" game many times recently..

 Europe and US are different markets. All supplies in all webshops and B&M I follow are gone. And the constant in and out on LEGO Shop at Home shows there is (atm anyways) no new production run for it. With the rest of the MF theme gone, HH will be too soon.

It's a great set and I have a bunch, though I have 50% more GE's.  My biggest complaint about HH is the duplicate ghosts.  I'd much rather have gotten another zombie or vampire (maybe the Scary Girl from the new CMF series).

So it will probably go on for the next 2-3 weeks :-/

It's done then! It may flick on/off a few times eventually, but that's it! Yehhaaaa.....I have 5 in the collection that I bought last year and I didn't want to invest any more into this particular set as I wasn't sure for how long it will be around, but 5 is not bad as a fall back plan...

Exactly, the higher the price the better for all of us greedy re-sellers! I don't mind if the bar is high on amazon or ebay, makes it easier to demand for better prices. On the global scheme of things, there are cartels in every business/industry ...why not create one here LEGO cartel!

Although having 5, I might indeed build one as I am quite a lego fan anyway..people here say its good fun. I've done that with the modulars, I've built several of them while keeping the rest in mint boxes. Never expected the modulars to be such fun (that said by a Technic & Star Wars guy)!
