Need help with a thin post-type piece

Hi,

 

I've been out of LEGO building for a while and am having trouble identifying a piece that's commonly used as the upright posts in stair banisters:

    That's it, thanks guys!  I came somewhat close, thinking it might be the light sword shaft, but I couldn't get that piece to connect to a stud like they did.
