  •   What you're forgetting is that retail organizations (and large businesses in general) completely over-react to minor things. Your numbers make sense, and work on logic. A lot of business

  • It was not referring to you, but let me comment anyway. I was referring to people who clean a store out of any item. It brings negative attention to all of us. We do not all hit the maximum purchas

  • The bigger picture is these sets aren't about the money: They are priced at $19.99 specifically because they felt it would be a price higher than anyone would be willing to pay - they weren't meant to

cool, looks good.

I think those will be much more sought after than the minifig packs.

So how will these work? One a week at TRU only?

blah, ill pass!

These are sweet. I may have to head down to TRU this October.

If these are like the MINIFIG packs last year, they will be giveaways for Lego purchases of over $60.

Take my money.

I really like these.  I'll be getting a set for myself.  I'll try to get a couple of sets for investment.  Just look at the appreciation of the Mini Modulars, and you can why.

The challenge will be figuring out what to pair up at TRU to get to $60 without paying TRU's inflated prices.

If there were fullscale versions of these, I would be soooo happy.

Hold on to your mini modulars!

All of a sudden I am betting the next full size modular is a bank

The next one is strongly rumored to be a Detective Agency .

First I heard of THAT but that would be welcomed!

I think they look rather ugly and poorly done actually.

I think they're great... I hope we get them up North too.

October is going to be an expensive month... Double VIP + Bricktober. I might have to get a second job.

Are these in store only?

Anyone know if previous minifigures mentioned were available in Canada? Would love to grab these

From what I remember they were but I remember thinking.. neat, but not really interested.

I found this which laid out the Canada reqs to get them last year:

Last year there was only three from what I found... and October also brought 20% off Technic which is about as good as get.

Awesome thanks for the great info. Seems encouraging that we should get it...

nice

They look really cool, hopefully they come to the UK

Looks good! Should be plenty of demand for these, and I agree, more popular that the minifig sets. Most of those were/are kind of boring.

Looks very cool and seems like a good addition to a mini modulars. Im still looking forward to a future mini modulars part II!

Also, that fire hydrant next to the fire station looks like heaven to any micro scale dogs.

Yeah, and demand on Ebay is low.  These could be good.

I don't think that these would fit next to the original mini modulars - the TRU versions seem to be much smaller - more like micro modulars. They are nice, but not really compatible with the regular mini modulars I think. Now, on the second part I agree, I would also like an extension of the regular mini modulars. :)
