My wallet is crying....  still haven't picked up the sandcrawler and now this must have comes out.  Looks nice!

 

The Slave 1 is such an ugly ship... but that Lego version is sweet. Sandcrawler or Slave 1... my wallet weeps with yours.

Seriously though, Star Wars + UCS + Boba Fett. All the boxes are ticked here. I don't even really enjoy building spaceship sets of any kind but even I want one.

Looks great! The art on the box is making me want a 4000pc Cloud City set to replace the DS. 

The comments in this topic make me realize that is set is going to be huge and fantastic, people that are normally not into SW, Spaceship, UCS etc. wanting this set.

I was thinking the same thing about 8097.  I picked up an 8097 earlier this year in a bulk lot.  It was only missing a few pieces (and minifigs).  I'm waiting on 4 more pieces to arrive this week so I can finish it up.  It definitely gets to the top of the list for putting together and then selling off.

I, too, would be totally stoked for a UCS Cloud City set! Not trying to detract from the purpose of this thread.....Rock on with that bada$$ UCS Slave 1!! :D

So now is it time for the Death Star, R2, or UCS X-Wing to retire since this is coming out?  I know it doesn't always work that way, but the LEGO stores only have so much shelf space.

I am reading this thread on my phone, but I think I see arm printing on the Boba fig. This set = huge win.

Decision making time. A good % of 10123 Cloud City's current value is due to it's Boba Fett. I believe only Leia and Lando are exclusives now w/o refreshes or can be made from other minifig parts.

update : luke's legs are still exclusive to this set.  at least 10123's fett's arms are still unique (not reused with this set).

no.  this set and cloud city are the only fett minifigs with arm printing

Ya i missed the arm printing.  Not sure if 10123 boba fett would suffer any losses because of this new fig.  The arms won't be interchangeable.
