Glad I called my local Lego Store this morning and placed 2 on hold...went there to pick them up this afternoon...and they're all gone.  I gladly took my 2 and walked out.  I like the slimmed-down box btw.

Saw this pic on reddit today. Sure the DO isn't a huge modular or anything, but man the Slave I looks massive.

I finished building the 75060 UCS Slave 1 the other day.  Here's a quick size comparison between this set with the Hasbro POTF toy (uses the Kenner 1980 toy mold) and set 8097 from 2010.  A

Drove to my local store and they have a few still. I put my order in for one this morning when it first came online and may have been falsely saying out of stock. It went in stock after a while and now shows delayed shipment which is shorter than the 30 days it said when it first became available. I'm hopeful. Meanwhile, picked one up here at the store and got it for half off using VIP points! Building tonight I hope!

So I purchased mine prior to poof, does that mean mine will ship soon, or am I part of the delayed shipping group?

Missing a piece. Bag 10, step 10, piece 4539102.

Anyone else???

That is unfortunate. Luckily Lego is great about sending out missing pieces but you do have to wait for it to arrive in the mail which is torture when you are in the middle of a fun build.

Are ou familiar with Bricklink? Maybe you have one in another set?

I am and I did. In White. I am pretty sure my cat bricknapped it now that I think about it. I just can't see that piece actually be missing in this set.

On a lighter note. I just finished with bag ten and this is already easily ranking as one of my favorite sets, right next to the Falcon that this will be displayed next to.

I completed it in an 8-hour build session that spanned 2 locations in 2 cities. True story.

Also, this thing is amazing. Boba Fett does not disappoint either. Incredible model and really great build.

This has been the most anticipated set for me.  Picked it up at the Lynnwood, WA store on the 1st.  Unfortunately, looks like almost half of bag 5 is missing. Going through all the steps now to confirm. So frustrated! Anyone have any major amount of missing pieces. Already putting my missing pieces order in with LEGO.

Just in case you missed it there are TWO bags numbered 5,7, and 10. Check your box and bags again there should be another smaller bag 5.

Just saw Lego movie again on HBO. Sorry if mentioned already, did anyone notice the large slave 1 on the back wall of the dad's basement collection? Right next to the falcon? Looked too big to be the normal version from few years ago. Foreshadow of the ucs version?

Was going to say that. I had no missing pieces. Only thing I couldn't figure out is why they give you 4 visors and 4 antennae in one of the middle bags, and I don't recall you use them anywhere on the set.

Oh and I bought and built the ucs slave 1 and its a monster. Had to raise one of the shelves in the ikea detolf to fit height.

Antennae is for Boba and spares. All I could find on the visor is this

If I remember correctly they give you extra of those same pieces with the Desert Skiff set as well - Maybe these pieces get lost easily so Lego includes extras when Boba Fett is in a set?

Battle packs with clone troopers who have visors and antenna accessories also usually have a few extra of them for whatever reason.

Toywiz sucks and notoriously presells stuff and you never get and there customer service is poor

That being said is it worth a try

How long with paypal to request a refund vs amazon checkout?
