Book Review: "LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide"

Featured Replies

I just completed a detailed review of the brand new book "LEGO Architecture: The Visual Guide" by the popular DK publisher.  The book is beautifully produced, and features all 21 sets in the growing LEGO Architecture series.  Let's see what it has to offer, and find out if it's something you should add to your library!

I'd love to hear your thoughts as well.  Do you love it or hate it?  What would you have liked to see different?

Sincerely,
--- Tom Alphin

Didn't know this book was coming, thanks for sharing. I will definitly pick one up.

I've seen it at B&****** and wondered - now I will probably not buy it. Thanks for your review!

Thanks for the review Tom, I hadn't heard about this book. I like seeing Lego bring out things like this, though it sounds from your review that they might have made a better job of it. I'll probably pick up one or two though. Looks like a nice collectible item.

I just got this for my birthday (Sept. 19th for those who forgot to send me something...) and I love it!

I first saw this book on LEGO Shop at Home and was pretty excited. Then I thought I could probably get this in a book store and finally was able to flipped through an unwrapped display copy. I was a bit disappointed it felt like it's a collection of all the back stories found in all the manuals.

If I were to get this book it has to be at pretty deep discount which a book store can offer much more often than from LEGO.

The only LEGO book I own currently is the DK minifigure Character Encyclopedia.

Right. That's why I got mine for US $12.60 from Amazon (discount + deal + GC).
