60014 US Coast Guard Patrol and 31012 Creator Family House, does anybody have an opinion on these two sets?

You guys think this set will do well? I also noticed it's "sold out" on Lego shop at home, but I did see a couple in my local Toys R us.

its already selling for $90-100 pretty consistently.  Took a good jump after BF.

 

Sold 3 at $90 already.  I've done well with the houses overall.

but it seems at $90 it would be just break even basically.  but i do see the potential since it just sold out and is somewhat available in stores. wondering if this has potential to be a $150-200 set.  then maybe i'll pick up 2.

$36? Damn, that sounds good to me. Wish I'd grabbed a few of these when Amazon had a reduction on them. It's a really nice set I think.

​I think many here bought them at around 50 euro each. Current value is about 80 euro if I am not mistaken. 

So for 75 euro I would leave it.

Here in the USA, I picked up a couple of these on clearance at $50.  I've been watching them on Amazon, though the "prime" price has recently bumped up to $100... price from 3PS has been steady at $84.99 forever (now I see the lowest seller is at $87.95 + $6.49 shipping)... are there real buyers out there at this price?  Sometimes when I see a price hold stagnant on Amazon for a long time, I wonder if anyone is buying.  Is there a way to find out weekly / monthly sales on a particular item on Amazon?

these were also on clearance at target at $35+ redcard a year or so ago. kmart had them on clearance at $51.xx somewhat recent as well. i sold these over $100 during last xmas season. i figure they will reach $120-150 this xmas easily

someone here was also buying pallets of this item from "crime liquidators" somehwere in texas, dont remember the price though

​I think they bought most for $40-$50.  Most were closer to $50 from what I recall.

Darn you Texans, moving these across the border with the migrant workers.  These are down to $86 FBA.

I sold mine for ~$100 FBA before Christmas but had to come down from my original price of $110 because prices were dropping.  I still have a few left that I will hold onto another year.  I was definitely disappointed after that trailer full of these was "found" by that eBay seller.

One of the rare "sold for more on ebay" I sold most of mine around $110-$115 on ebay some more

I sold several on EBay too, but the FBA sets will stay put.

Can anyone provide the weight of a sealed set? I recently found one at Walmart. Seals look good but I want to be certain.
