  • Interesting thing with the Family House is it actually includes enough pieces of the right size to build a modular home. I was going to save this for another topic but what the heck. Check it out.

  • Darn you Texans, moving these across the border with the migrant workers.  These are down to $86 FBA.

We are just the pawns in their little game.

I love this house for some reason....the front bay windows with the light brick. Just so pleasing to the eye. I even bought one for myself which is saying something as I really only collect space sets :)

Any chance Benny or the green astronauts taking up residence in your Family House? Or perhaps turning the place into a real modern home for, oh, the 31st century? ;)

You know, that thought had crossed my mind. And now you have amplified that thought :P

This set is sold out on US Shop at Home as of Oct 4th.  It's still available at TRU and Walmart, so I picked up a few.

This is a 2013 set.

I think we'll see it around at least up to summer 2015 (and more thanks to online retailers). It's still wiiiiiiiiidely available here, everywhere.

If it's OoS on LEGO Shop at Home it just means that it's a popular set.

Bought one today at TRU after walking past it 100+ times and never really looking at it.. I love it for the personal collection and as an investment... This one's unique.

I really like this one too. I like the creator houses. I have a couple of each. They can all be found for some kind of discount somewhere right now but I am hoping at least a couple of them will only be available from resellers at xmas time.

I think this is one that will disappear early. I have seen none anywhere around here. A new Walmart opened this morning though and they had 2 so I grabbed them

I'm betting this is a sleeper.

Maybe you are right. I did notice that it is sold out on Lego's website.

This is a great set in my opinion.  Creator houses are usually money in the money bank long term and if they dry up fast enough short term.  On a personal note I have always enjoyed the Lego houses that have attached garages.

Available at TRU.com and Walmart.com for $59.99

This set is definitely worth buying for that price at Toys R Us to get the free promos along with it.

Does anyone know how many per lego case on this one?  Bought 3 from TRU online to burn some rewards last night, wondering if I should order in 4's instead or what the secret number is...

I ordered 4 last month from TRU and they all came loose in a big box.  All in good condition though.

Except the cursed Apple Tree House. That was available on shelves (at least in Canada) loooooong after S&**** sold out. I was sitting on them for what seems like forever, but eventually sold all but 1 that I'm keeping for myself.

I bought one to build with my daughter, and so far it's the best creator house in our collection.  I'm not currently investing in the creator line for resell, but of all of them I strongly believe this one will do extremely well down the road once retired.  If they kick around for another year I might make an exception and pick up half a dozen.

While I've noticed that my local shops have replenished this item, LEGO Shop at Home is "out of stock" now.
